Finally, in week 9, a big mix up has shaken the remaining contestants.

Adrian, who we may recall had entered a grey area defined by inconsistent translations of the Official Rules, gracefully exited the competition. Kudos and hats off to your gentlemanly behavior, and boy-howdy, it must be nice to feel the air on ones face.

Francisco also has taken his leave of the contest, having introduced razor and apparent youth to his face.

Week 8 in Review (Cutting Remarks)

A small scandal rocked the OLX Beard Contest as itinerant beard tolerance champion Adrian was found to have shaved the lower neck area, based on a confusion brought forth from differences in the translations of the Official Rules. We are waiting keenly to see what the Hairy Programmers Contest Elder Board says regarding the possible infraction.

The local climate, lending no great help to our local beard champs, is sending warm breezes and tranquil nights our way. Despite the squeeze, the final four are still well-linted.
